1. The easy part was making the clipping mask in the first place.
2. The difficult part was realizing that I needed that layer mask to make sure that each letter had a different picture, because I originally thought I just needed a clipping mask. 3. I like that each letter stands out because of the pictures inside the letter, and the drop shadow is thick which makes the letters stand out more. 1. The adjustments that I used are Vibrance, Black & White, and Brightness/Contrast.
2. I love that masks can allow me to change only specific parts of an image, but because it's non-destructible, I don't permanently change the image. 3. Sometimes I struggle with selecting what part of the image I want to change. 1. Photoshop is a raster-based program.
2. You can use the rectangular marquee tool to make a selection. 3. I used linear burn as one of my blending modes. 4. Layers are important to make sure that you can edit singular parts of your image at one time. A line is the path of a moving point. Color is derived from reflected light and has three parts: hue, intensity, and value. Value is the lightness and darkness of a hue. Shape is a 2D area enclosed by an outline. Form is a 3D volume with height, width, and depth. Texture is the feel, appearance, or consistency of a surface or a substance, the tactile quality of the surface of a work of art. Space is the creation of a visual perspective and the illusion of depth. It is the distance around, between, above, below, and within an object or group of objects.
